Model Ashley Moore Reveals How Her Workouts Really Make Her Feel

For models like Ashley Moore New York Fashion Week is one of the biggest weeks of the year. But the week’s craziness does not stop the 24-year-old from fitting in a workout.

Reebok caught up with Moore at New York's popular boxing gym Gotham Gym for an exclusive early morning boxing session with celebrity trainer Rob Piela.

“It’s the best way to kick off the day,” says Moore.

“I’m always running from one place to the next. That’s when leading a healthy lifestyle year-round comes in handy,” she adds.

“I may not be able to get in a full workout every day or eat meals on a normal schedule, but because I work hard all year to stay healthy, my body knows how to handle these weeks of craziness.”

Watching Moore throw punches and jabs in the ring, it’s evident she is not just talking the talk; everyone in the gym can see how seriously she takes her workouts.

“As a model, I view fitness as part of my job,” says Moore. “And it’s a really fun part!”

“So much of my job as a model is about confidence,” she continues. 

“I need to be able to walk into any audition and prove that I deserve to be there and would be a great hire. Fitness gives women like myself the self-confidence to do this."

“When I’m in the gym, I feel empowered, tough and sexy. Those qualities all translate so seamlessly into day-to-day life, especially in my line of work.”

Her workout of choice?

Anything involving cardio. 

“I do cardio most days of the week,” Moore reveals. “I love putting the music up loud and getting in a good sweat.”

Moore confesses to also loving the outfits she puts together for these sweat sessions.

“When I’m in the gym, you’ll always find me in leggings, usually high-waisted ones with a cute sports bra. To and from the gym, I’ll add a jacket or bomber over the sports bra to make the look a little more transitional.”

“And you can’t forget about the kicks. Shoes make the whole outfit!”
